The pressure reducers are suitable for all usage areas that involve medical gasses. They are characterised by their ease of use, extremely good reliability and safety, and are easy to maintain.
The medical product act and the standards for medical pressure reducers (EN 738 in this case) stipulate that it is up to the manufacturer to draw up repair and maintenance instructions for his products and publish them (in the operating instructions).
The following applies to the pressure reducers that are described here: The pressure reducers must be subjected to a visual inspection not later than six years after they start to be used, and the inspection must be carried out by the manufacturer or a person who has been trained and authorised by the manufacturer.
The safety inspection consists of:
- Leak test under pressure.
- Flow accuracy check.
- Operating pressure check.
- Affixing of a new test sticker.
A general overhaul must be carried out after no more than six years after the last safety inspection or twelve years after the product has been brought into circulation, and consists of:
- Leak test under pressure.
- Flow accuracy check.
- Operating pressure check.
- Replacement of diaphragm valve/piston.
- Safety valve pressure test.
- Affixing of a new test sticker.
Features:
- Flow adjustable from 0-25 l/min using handwheel.
- Pressure gauge for cylinder contents.
- Connecting thread 9/16’’ external thread with 6 mm connecting nozzle.
