Continuous research and development has led to the BREATHING AIR line by NARDI COMPRESSORI, dedicated to the diving and firefighting sectors, and includes high-pressure compressors certified according to DIN EN 12021 and all the necessary accessories to build complete systems that guarantee consistently high standards of safety and quality. This line offers various solutions, portable or silent, all adaptable to the needs of users, thanks to the many additional functions that can be installed on the machines.

BREATHING AIR is a product line that includes several products made by NARDI COMPRESSORI which are designed to provide breathable air for the filling of cylinders for different applications (i.e.: scuba diving, safe & rescue, military, etc.). PACIFIC is a group of compressors of different capacities that have a very high efficiency and are mechanically very robust to ensure many hours of operation. PACIFIC MX are compressors within the PACIFIC group that have free air delivery rates from 500 liters per minute to 850 liters per minute.

These are robust compressors, designed in detail to ensure maximum safety and a long service life.

Quality of compressor blocks:
- The compressor block or pumping unit is the heart of PACIFIC compressors and is a key component to which NARDI has paid great attention. It has characteristics that make it unique in the world. Among them is the use of light alloys with high thermal efficiency, such as aluminum.
- The pumping unit is not coated with paint in order to improve the heat dissipation of its elements with low corrosion resistance.
- The crankshaft bearings have rollers that are extremely robust and manufactured in Europe, ensuring a long service life of the compressor.
- The oil pump ensures constant lubrication of the internal workings of the block with oil, which is cleaned by a filter and a magnet of impurities that trap any metals present in the lubricating oil.
- Cooling of the compressed air is achieved by interstage cooling coils made of stainless steel.

Frame efficiency:
- The frame is designed to reduce weight and dimensions, making the compressor light and portable, with an aluminum frame coated with epoxy powder paint and stainless steel components.
- It is equipped with a double anti-vibration anti-frame that eliminates vibrations on the ground.
- The paint coating and stainless steel components ensure protection against corrosion even in marine environments.

Controls and electronics:
- For the correct operation of the amplifier, NARDI has designed a new electronic control panel. This new system controls all the main characteristics such as temperature, oil level, current consumption, inlet pressure, outlet pressure, and monitors all sensors, valves and solenoid valves.
- In addition, the electronic control panel monitors the service schedule and monitors the status of the filtration system.

Filtration system cleanliness:
- The compressor is equipped with various filters and separators: two separators are located on the compressor block, and one final PAC filter on the frame is mainly intended for breathing air.
- The compressor is equipped with a single large filter, ensuring long operating hours and breathable air, in accordance with the UNI EN 12021:2014 standard.

Economy:
- Everything in the compressor is designed to optimize both operating and labor costs.
- Compressor servicing, in addition to being quite cheap, is scheduled at longer intervals.
- When the compressor is running, NARDI has designed an automatic compressor condensate drain to optimize costs, equipped with a unique patented SLOW FLOW SYSTEM that reduces the amount of gas discharged by 80%, saving on the pressure of the entire system.
