The head of the innovative "Alaska" consists of five horizontal and six vertical blades, which can rotate around the central axis for better adaptation to the terrain.
The head can be locked at a 45° angle, which optimizes the impact on the ground and uses the applied energy more efficiently. The horizontal leaves "smother" the fire, the vertically attached leaves can also be used for scraping, e.g. to expose embers.
The upper part of the telescopic handle is made of stable and light aluminium, the lower part is made of a flexible special plastic. The flexible part protects the user from recoil when hitting the ground and the effectiveness can also be significantly increased when swinging back through the "whiplash effect".
With the practical transport strap, the Alaska can easily be hung around your shoulders.
