Fal Seguridad VOLCANO fire boots made of PBI fabric represent a turning point in firefighter safety footwear. 30% lighter-than-standard leather boots provide firefighters with a more comfortable, safe and, above all, lighter protective footwear. The Crosstech sock-shaped membrane, however, gives us a waterproof boot with excellent breathability. Top quality boots that every firefighter deserves. The (whole) boot is washable.
Features:
- Upper: Fire and water resistant PBI® fabric and microfiber.
- Inner lining: Crosstech® by Gore Tex® Membrane. Waterproof and breathable. Blood, body fluids and common chemicals resistant.
- Inner sole: 2 layers (PES and open-cell foam). Anatomically preformed, antibacterial (activated carbon). High energy absorption and recovery.
- Protective Insole: HTP (High Tenacity Polyester) penetration resistant insole. Similar to Kevlar®.
- Sole: Fireproof, heat resistant and antistatic sole made of nitrile rubber and polyurethane. Fuel oil and slip resistant. Two coloured in order to increase daily visibility.
- Toe cap: COMPOSITE VINCAP® covered by external rubber protection.
- Threads: Double seam made of Kevlar, water and fire resistant.
- Reflective parts: Fire resistant 3M® reflector, high visibility.
- Closing system: BOA® system. Water, ice and mud resistant knob. Flame resistant according EN 15090: 2012. Braided steel laces. Replaceable.
