With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, generally around the belly button. To ensure a comfortable fit, keep one finger between the measuring tape and your body.

Nicely packed:
- We recommend the use of 3 - 4 for one firehose pack, even hollow steel tubes with handle can be easily packed this way.
- Firehose packs – only fixed with straps – are becoming more popular. They present a reasonable and effective alternative to the usual carrying baskets.
Advantages of a firehose pack:
- Stand-by firehose is layed automatically
- Firehose pack can be opened directly in front of the area on fire – even on a small amount of space
- Stand-by firehose can be leaned against the wall and comfortably pulled as a loop
Disadvantages of a firehose pack (without the RAP-EX Firehose Bag):
- less comfortable carrying over the shoulder
- storage in fire trucks is often compromised
- often stored unsafely and therefore improperly within the team quarters with a heightened risk of accidents
